I was reading the headlines and I saw where trump got struck down for the second time from the Supreme Court. Yes, his much-touted big, beautiful seventeen or eighteen state lawsuit was tossed out mainly for lack of evidence. Of course, they used their fancy court jargon to do it. I am like, ‘this is great. The carnival shit show is over. We can move on from the 2020 election and the doddering trump complaints factory’.
But no, the moron is already looking at his options on new cases. I don’t remember the details and since I am getting shell shock or burnout or PTSD on trump lawsuits. I read that he’s over fifty lawsuits and counting. I didn’t bother to note where or what new crap he’s working on. I really should keep on looking, because what he’s doing is tearing down over two hundred years of democracy to win back a job that he avoids doing. What has he done about an economy that’s about to go over a cliff? Nothing! And it’s his own pet Mitch McConnell that’s blocking the relief this country needs. And we have Covid that the moron hasn’t done anything about either. Except he did, berate the FDA, telling them they had till the end of the day to approve the vaccine or they should resign. And sometimes you just get lucky. The FDA was already planning to release the drug on either Friday or Saturday dependent on some paperwork that goes with it. Trumps’ understanding of how things work is abysmal. The drug was released on their schedule and not because some orange gorilla was beating his chest or whatever dumb moves he makes. Pretty much another screw trump moment. I do like those.
While the Supreme Court was papering the bathrooms of the offices of the justices with the many pages of the Texas debunked voter fraud lawsuit, trump was on the prowl looking for something to rip up. In a rare moment of clarity or denser fog. It’s hard to decide which is best when dealing with trump. At this point, trump hit upon the Joe Biden team. He said that the Biden/Harris presidency would be a scandal-plagued mess for many years to come. Hmm, strange, where have I heard that before? Seems to me a broken down reality show reject had that label locked up. Really can’t see any reason to change now. I personally pray every day for a boring old solid Joe Biden Administration. It just gives me goosebumps. I have seen in other news that trump and other republicans are working tirelessly to bring people in to prove their fairytales.
There is a CNN show called the reality check. That seems to be a good idea even if they talk about the latest flowers. But no, they did a story on our ever-popular conspiracy theorist, time traveler Ron Johnson. He is currently working very hard to prove once again that he needs to go back to whatever nut ward he escaped from. He’s bringing back the indomitable Ken Starr to tell us how bad ballots are in elections or some such shit. Now it was a long time ago in one of those Middle East countries and I don’t remember which, but the way they were voting was that an election guy was there by the ballot box and he had this really sharp knife. You filled out your ballot and the guard poked you with the knife. You then put your thumbprint in blood on your ballot. Needless to say, the ruling party retained power. I guess it could be considered fair. They didn’t shoot you to get the blood. I always think of that when I think about trump and his fraudulent election. I’m kinda glad that trump has the attention span of a gnat, or we would need a lot of bandages.
I do hope this comes to a conclusion soon. I did read that the electors have another meeting and a vote count in January and they are worried trump will try to interfere. Correct me if I am wrong but that sounds like interfering with a lawful election. Which is a felony. Arrest the peckerhead and be done with it. He’s already a lame duck. I believe we should show him his future in a just world.
Another point that amazes me is that no senators signed on to the Texas fairytale. Of course, the Senate doesn’t have Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan to stir the pot. Mitch McConnell thinks he has problems now. We should send him these fine examples of politicians. And speaking of Mitch. I read the other day that his net worth is thirty-four million dollars and his only income in his senate disclosure file is his Senate salary. Either he’s extremely frugal or the top job pays pretty damn good. What I’m thinking is that it would be prudent to check out how he got all that money since he’s been in Congress for quite a while. I only bring that up because he’s been so adamant that Americans don’t need any stimulus money especially if he can’t have his pet bill to protect corporations from liability for working in dangerous situations without proper PPE or other problems. There are a lot of people that died before we could mandate people wear masks and gloves to protect themselves. I know nobody wants to sue the companies that forced people to do what probably killed their loved ones.
